Word & Melody

Word and melody” is a performance art collaboration between the poet Soheila Ghodstinat and the musician Reza Filsoofi.

Sohelia delivers her lyrical poetry through recitation and acting, as well as some Iranian folk songs, to Reza’s vocal and musical accompaniment. They create a dialogue that lets the audience enter into a nostalgic atmosphere through the poetry, acting, song and instrumental music.

This collaborative performance was first performed in south Florida, and soon it will soon be brought to other areas. It has been recorded by Pouya Pourtahmasbi (Navak Studio),
